Flying two Super Christen Eagle I Aircraft. A highly modified engine powers them
producing 320 H.P. The aircraft originally came equipped with a 200 H.P lycoming
engine, and equipped with 2 seats. The aircraft over a 3 year period were
transformed from a sport aerobatic aircraft into one of only 4 single seat
Eagles flying in the country today. The front seat of the aircraft was replaced
with a 30-gallon aerobatic fuel tank, along with a 25-gallon auxiliary fuel
tank. Now the aircraft can stay in the air for over 3 hrs. Duration. They can
travel app. 600 miles before needing any fuel. The planes cruising speed at 50%
power is 200 M.P.H. The 2-seat version of this aircraft is still being produced
in Afton, Wyoming as a kit.
