The Canadian International Airshow (CIAS) held in Toronto, Canada hosted the British Red Arrows. As you can see the photography was tough due to lighting as well as the location of the flight line. We did happen to have a few good shots.
Making on of it's last appearance the CH-113 Labrador is being retired later this year. It's replacement will be the CH-149 Cormorant
The main reason for attending CIAS this year was to see the Red Arrows perform. Magnificent is about the only word to describe their routine. Unfortunately, it is hard to depict their performance in these pictures. I hope to photograph them real soon in a photogenic environment.
Last but not least, we had the opportunity to photograph the
world debut of the Canadian Geese. As you can see here very tight
formations. Although not a supersonic bird , similar to their sister team
the Canadian Snowbirds, they are graceful and beautiful to watch. Due
notice the solos in the rear trying to catch up to the main formation to set up
for their next maneuver.
