Due to base realignment this might be the final show for NAS Brunswick.  To be honest with you I do not think I have ever seen a crowd this size at an air show.  Overall the show was awesome, the only downside would be the lack of a P-3 or C-130 demo.

 

Over 13,000 B-17s were built before the end of World War II, and it was the mainstay of the strategic bomber force flying against Germany.


 

Jim Leroy, A.K.A. The Bulldog, is the recipient of the 2002 Art Scholl Showmanship Award and the 2003 Bill Barber Award for Showmanship, Jim is one of only eleven performers ever to receive both of these highly prestigious honors.

The US Army's UH-60 entered service in 1979.   This aircraft is part of Maine's Army National Guard.

Major Geoff Hickman is in his second season as the Air Combat Command's Viper East F-16 Demonstration Team pilot and officer in charge of the F-16 Demonstration Team. As the Demonstration pilot, he showcases America 's F-16 Fighting Falcon to more than seven million people at approximately 65 shows around the world.

Scott Shockley has recently broken his dad's speed record.  Back in August he broke the record and set the bar at 419 mph.

John Klatt began his flying career in the USAF.  Today, sponsored by the Air National Guard, he fly the S-300D at air shows across the country.

A total of 12,571 Corsairs were built, of which some 28 remain airworthy today.

Doing his solo routine John Mohr flew his PT-17 Stearman several times. 

Flying six F/A-18 Hornets the United States Blue Angels took to the sky probably one last time above NAS Brunswick.
